New Delhi, May 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, was presented before a Delhi court, today. Media reports said that Muhammad Yasin Malik told the court that he was not contesting the charges levelled against him. Special Judge Praveen Singh will hear the arguments in the case on May 19. As per reports, the court may sentence the JKLF chief to life imprisonment.
The court also framed the charges against other unlawfully detained Hurriyat leaders including All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masarrat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Shahid-ul-Islam, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Raja Meraajuddin Kalwal and Peer Saifullah.
