Written test conducted for drivers vacant posts in Safe City Islamabad Project 

Islamabad, December 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):A written test was conducted for driver’s vacant posts in the Safe city Islamabad project on Saturday at Police Lines Headquarters, a police public relations officer said. He said that, the recruitment process is being supervised by the Capital Police Officer (CPO) Safe City Islamabad Rommel Akram in order to make it transparent and merit-based. The whole arrangements for written tests were supervised by CPO Safe City and SP Headquarters Saud khan.

To ensure transparency and merit, the whole process of the written test was recorded by safe city cameras, smart cars, drones and video cameras. CPO Safe City briefed the candidates about the test.

A total of 1855 applications were received from all over Pakistan for the vacant posts, after the scrutiny, 626 candidates were shortlisted for the written test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview after which call letters will be issued to meritorious candidates.

CPO Safe City has said that all the recruitment process will be done in full transparency and on merit. In this regard, the candidates are being informed through social media and other different platforms, so that all candidates who have passed the written test can take part in the other driving test.
