World urged to take note of Hurriyat leaders’ custodial killings by India

Srinagar, October 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Syed Bashir Andrabi has urged the international community, particularly the United Nations, to take notice of the custodial killings of Hurriyat leaders by India.

Syed Bashir Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said the custodial killing of APHC leader Altaf Ahmad Shah, is asking the international rights organizations as for what crime he was put to death. He said the only crime of the Kashmiri people is that they are demanding their birth right to self-determination, promised to them by the Indian leaders at the United Nations.

The APHC leader deplored Indian troops are killing innocent people in the occupied territory on a daily basis. He called upon the international human rights organizations to take notice of the inhuman actions of the Indian troops in IIOJK.

Syed Bashir Andrabi said Kashmiri people can sacrifice their lives but will never accept India’s slavery. He said that India wanted the land of Kashmir and not its people. For this, he said, India is hatching conspiracies to change the demography of Kashmir by accommodating Indian citizens. He said unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and the UN resolutions, sustainable peace cannot be established in South Asia.
