World urged to take cognizance of India’s vindictive actions in IIOJK

Islamabad, February 01, 2023 (PPI-OT):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter leaders have strongly condemned the confiscation of the APHC head office in Srinagar by the Modi regime on a so-called court order in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. APHC-AJK leaders, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Altaf Hussain Wani, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Abdul Majeed Malik, Syed Ejaz Rehmani, Hassan Bana, Sanaullah Dar, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Abdul Majeed Lone, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Raja Khadim Hussain, Engineer Mahmood Ahmed, Ashfaq Ahmed Balwal, Syed Mushtaq, Dawood Yousafzai, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Manzoor Ahmad Dar and Imtiaz Wani in their statements urged the UN to take immediate cognizance of India’s illegal and vindictive actions in IIOJK.

They said Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally-recognized disputed territory and India is illegally occupying it through its military power. They said Indian kangaroo courts cannot impose their verdicts on the people of a disputed region. They said India by using its kangaroo courts cannot force the Kashmiris to give up their legitimate freedom struggle.

The APHC-AJK leaders said the Hurriyat Conference is representative body of Kashmiris which is fighting peacefully for their rights. They said by such illegal and undemocratic measures India cannot subdue the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom. They said that the APHC will continue its struggle to achieve the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
