World urged to resolve Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions

Srinagar, November 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK), paying rich tributes to the martyred youth killed by the Indian troops in fake encounters in Srinagar, has urged international community to come forward and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per its pending UN resolutions.

Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK) Chairperson, Zamrooda Habib and General Secretary, Shameem Shawl in their joint statement expressed solidarity with the families of the youth martyred by the troops in fake encounters in Rambagh and Hyderpora areas of Srinagar.

They said, India has forgotten the reality that the freedom movements and sentiments could not be suppressed through military and brutal tactics, adding that the Modi regime was systematically committing genocide and killing Kashmiris in fake encounters. They urged the international community to take stock of the worst human rights situation in Kashmir as the Indian forces, shielded by the draconian laws, kill the subjugated people with impunity.

The joint statement urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and other peace-loving people of the world to take serious cognizance of the prevailing gruesome situation of Kashmir wherein people were being killed mercilessly without any reason. The KTK delegation also visited the house of victim families in Srinagar and expressed solidarity with them.
