Islamabad, Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that the silence of the international community on war crimes against Palestinian and Kashmiri children is alarming.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in his message on the occasion of International Children’s Day, said children are the future of the nation for which better education and training is necessary.
He said the world should play a role in stopping Israeli atrocities on Palestinian children, adding more effective measures are needed to protect children from forced labour and mental and physical abuse.
The Speaker said the best education and training of children and involving them in decision-making is important. He said to ensure the welfare of children, the Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights was established for the first time. He said that the 15th National Assembly of Pakistan took several measures for the welfare of children. KMS—12A
