Karachi, Today marks the observance of International Human Solidarity Day, with this year’s theme being ‘Advocate for Change’. The day is a global call for unity and collective action, particularly highlighting the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
According to Radio Pakistan, despite the global recognition of this day, the Kashmiris have been waiting for over seven decades to exercise their right to self-determination. This observance serves as a reminder to the world, especially to the United Nations, to honor their commitments to the Kashmiri people.
The day is a rallying point for all conscious human beings to support the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in achieving their United Nations-sanctioned right to self-determination. It underscores the need for international solidarity and advocacy for fundamental human rights.
