According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this year’s theme underscores the critical urgency of addressing hepatitis, a significant health challenge worldwide. The day is a poignant reminder of the severity of hepatitis, as statistics reveal that every thirty seconds, someone dies from a hepatitis-related illness. This stark figure highlights the pressing need for increased efforts in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment on an international scale.
