Davos, The 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum commenced today in Davos, Switzerland, bringing together global leaders and decision-makers to discuss critical issues facing the world.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is representing Pakistan at this prestigious forum. During his participation, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend three key thematic events, including discussions on Preventing an Era of Global Conflicts, Restoring Faith in the Global System, and Preventing Economic Fracture. He is also slated to deliver a keynote address on the theme “Trade, Tax, Trillion Dollar Promise.”
In addition to these engagements, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar will hold meetings with government and business leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, fostering discussions on various global challenges and opportunities.
This year’s forum, operating under the theme “Rebuilding Trust,” aims to reinforce and strengthen fundamental principles such as transparency, consistency, and accountability among world leaders. The annual meeting will span several days, culminating on Friday, with participants tackling a range of pressing global issues.
