World asked to resolve Kashmir dispute to save S. Asia from big catastrophe

Srinagar, September 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader Javed Ahmad Mir has urged the international community to resolve the Kashmir dispute to save the South Asian region from nuclear catastrophe. Javed Ahmad Mir said this during condolence meetings in Srinagar. He appealed to the world human rights organizations to impress upon India to releases all the pro-freedom leaders and activists from Tihaar and other jails of India and the occupied territory.

Javed Mir visited Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, to participate in the funeral prayers of Abdul Sattar Gagroo, a close associate of Maulana Mohammad Yousuf Shah. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. The Hurriyat leader also visited the residence of a close friend of Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq, Haji Noor-ud-Din Pandit to express condolence over the demise of his wife at Khoja Bazar in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement in a statement issued in Srinagar lamented that Modi’s fascist Indian government was continuing the genocide of Kashmiris to change the IIOJK’s demography. He said that India has been misleading the United Nations by resorting to lies for many years. International and local human rights organizations are not allowed to operate freely in Kashmir because of the ongoing Indian atrocities in the territory, he added. The spokesman strongly condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders.
