Islamabad: The Women Journalists’ Cricket Tournament, organized by the National Press Club and Capital Premier League, concluded with the final match attended by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. The tournament provided a platform for female journalists to showcase their cricketing skills.

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry inaugurated the final match by batting, highlighting the high standard of play and the supportive atmosphere of the event. During his remarks, he emphasized the importance of such events in promoting healthy activities and recognizing women’s abilities across various fields.

The National Press Club team emerged victorious in the final, defeating the Risja team to defend their title. The tournament was praised for its successful organization and the opportunities it provided for women journalists.
