Jaipur: The dismembered body of a 50-year-old woman, who had been missing for two days, was discovered in the Jodhpur area of Rajasthan. The victim, Anita Chaudhary, was identified after her body was found chopped into six pieces.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the local police reported that Anita Chaudhary, who ran a beauty parlor in Jodhpur, had closed her salon one afternoon but never returned home. Her husband, Manmohan Chaudhary, filed a missing persons report the following day.

Investigators traced the victim’s mobile location and call records to the residence of Gul Mohammad, a friend whom she regarded as a brother. During police questioning, Gul’s wife disclosed that Chaudhary’s body was buried behind their house.

The police subsequently discovered the body and sent the remains to AIIMS hospital for a post-mortem examination. Gul Mohammad is currently missing, and police are actively searching for him, officials stated. His wife has been detained for further questioning.
