Jammu: A 52-year-old woman died tragically on Tuesday when she slipped and fell into a stream in the Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred while Khurshid Begum was navigating a path toward Thannamandi through Darra and lost her footing, resulting in her fatal fall into the Nullah. Local officials and residents quickly responded to the accident.
The deceased, identified as Khurshid Begum, wife of Muhammad Younis Thakkar and a resident of Baryoon, was recovered from the stream by locals. Her body was then transported to a nearby hospital to complete the necessary medico-legal formalities.
