In a statement, the spokesperson of the Association, Nasir Khuehami, said the UAPA charges against students is a harsh punishment and will ruin their future. “It will result in their career assassination. The charges will have serious consequences on the academic and future careers of the students, he added.

Khuehami said it may have serious repercussions, both in the long term and short term. The charges will have serious psychosomatic consequences for the students. He said medical students are the cream of every society and they are expected to behave in an orderly manner and not go overboard. General Secretary of the Association, Mohammad Younus, said that campus voices should not be dealt with such stringent laws. Slapping UAPA to them will put their career and whole parent’s resources at stake, he said.
