A strong westerly wave is anticipated to impact the western and upper regions, bringing widespread weather changes. Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected to experience widespread rain, wind, and thunderstorms, accompanied by snow over mountains and some heavy rainfall.
Regions including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad are also likely to see rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with snow predicted over high mountains. Some areas may experience heavy rainfall and hailstorms.
Additional areas like Murree, Galiyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Hafizabad, and Gujranwala are forecasted to have rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with the potential for hailstorms. The Met Office advises residents in these regions to stay informed and take necessary precautions.
