A strong westerly wave is anticipated to move into the western and upper parts of the country, bringing widespread rain, wind, and thunderstorms. The Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir regions are expected to experience heavy rainfall and snowfall over mountainous areas.

In addition, areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad are likely to see rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with some heavy showers and hailstorms in certain locations.

The forecast extends to Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Hafizabad, and Gujranwala, where rain and thunderstorms are predicted, along with occasional hailstorms.
