Islamabad, The National Weather Forecasting Centre in Islamabad has released its latest weather forecast for Pakistan, indicating mainly dry conditions across most parts of the country for the upcoming weekend. A shallow westerly wave currently over the western regions is influencing the country’s weather pattern.
According to National Weather Forecasting Centre, the forecast for Saturday predicts mainly dry weather in most areas, with partly cloudy skies expected in the upper and central parts of the country. However, isolated rain and thunderstorms are likely in northwestern Balochistan. Moving into Sunday, similar dry weather conditions are expected to continue across most regions, with partly cloudy skies in the upper and central parts. Additionally, shallow fog or smog is likely to develop in the plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours.
The past 24 hours have seen dry weather prevailing over most parts of the country, with colder temperatures recorded in the northern regions. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded today were in Leh and Skardu at -05°C, followed by Kalam and Gupis at -02°C, and Hunza at -01°C. These conditions indicate a typical onset of the colder season in the northern parts of Pakistan.
