Sea conditions would remain rough/very rough with high surge at times till Oct 3 (Sunday).
Fishermen are advised not to venture in the sea till 3 October (Sunday).
Torrential rains may generate urban flooding in Karachi, Badin, Thatta, Hyderabad, Dadu, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Lasbella, Sonmiani, Ormara, Pasni, Gwadar, Turbat and Jiwani.
Windstorm may cause damages to vulnerable structures.
Synoptic Situation
Well-marked low-pressure area has intensified into a Cyclone along Sindh Makran coast in the Arabian Sea. Westerly waves are also affecting western and upper parts of the country.
Friday
Rain-windstorm/thundershower is expected in Sindh and Balochistan. Heavy falls are also likely to occur in lower Sindh and coastal belt of Balochistan during the period. Rain-wind/thundershower is also expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
Saturday
Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in upper/central Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan Heavy falls with gusty winds are also likely to occur in coastal belt of Balochistan during the period.
