Synoptic Situation

Existing depression in Arabian Sea is likely to change into tropical cyclone during next 24 hours and likely to move along Sindh Makran coast. Westerly waves are likely to approach upper parts of the country tonight and may persist in upper parts during next few days.

Thursday

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Sindh, upper Punjab, South/East Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and its adjoining areas. Heavy falls are also likely in lower Sindh and coastal belt of Balochistan during the period. Dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

Friday

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Sindh, Punjab, south/east Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Heavy falls are also likely in lower Sindh and coastal belt of Balochistan during the period.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred in Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lahore, Chakwal and Kashmir.
