Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Shallow monsoon currents are penetrating north-eastern and lower southern parts of the country and likely to strengthen during next few days.

Sunday

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind / thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in northeast Punjab, Pothohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, southeast Sindh, north/eastern Balochistan and Kashmir.

Monday

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind / thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and upper/southeast Sindh.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain occurred at isolated places in upper/central Punjab, lower Sindh and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Rainfall (mm): Punjab: Sialkot Airport 55, Lahore (Gulberg 08, Nishtar Town 02), Jhelum 01, Sindh: Islamkot 36, Chacharo 07, Dhahali 03 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Cherat 09.
