Synoptic Situation

Weak monsoon currents are penetrating southern parts of the country. A weak westerly wave is also present over north western parts of the country.

Monday

Hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in lower Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Tuesday

Hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in lower Sindh, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However rain occurred in upper/central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

Rainfall (mm): Punjab: Lahore (Airport 25, Lakshmi Chowk, Tajpura 15, Gulshan-e-Ravi 14, Gulberg 11, Mughal Pura 08, City 06, Upper Mall 04, Iqbal Town 03, Johar Town 02, Shahi Qila, Samanabad 01), Okara 01, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Parachinar 10, Gilgit-Baltistan: Bagrote 03 and Skardu 01.

Yesterday’s highest maximum Temperature’s (°C): Turbat 43, Sibbi 41, and Lasbella 39.
