Synoptic Situation

Monsoon currents are penetrating upper and lower parts of the country. A westerly wave is also present in upper and western parts of the country.

Thursday

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, eastern Balochistan and Sindh. Isolated heavy falls are also likely to occur at isolated places during the period.

Friday

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, eastern Balochistan and Sindh. Isolated heavy falls are likely to occur in lower Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.

Rain-wind thundershower occurred in Punjab, Islamabad, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan and Kashmir. Hot and humid weather prevailed elsewhere in the country.
