Synoptic Situation

Monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to continue till tomorrow. A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Pothohar Region. Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over other parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas.

Sunday

Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain- wind/thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in Islamabad, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Hot and dry weather prevailed over other parts of the country.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Sibbi, Turbat 48, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu 45, Nokkundi, Dalbandin and Attock 44.
