Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to strengthen on Monday and may persist in upper parts till Wednesday.

Sunday

Mainly dry weather is expected in southern parts of the country. However, Rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected North Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper/Central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated hailstorm is also expected during the period.

Monday

Cloudy weather is expected in Upper/Central parts of the country with Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with hailstorm) in North Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper/Central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavy fall may cause Flash Floods in local nullahs. Dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Galliyat and surrounding areas. Weather remained dry elsewhere in the country.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Malam Jabba 16, Saidu Sharif 04, Peshawar 03, Dir, Bacha Khan(A/P), Kakul, Balakot 02, Gilgit-Baltistan: Astore, Bagrote 06, Bunji, Gupis 01, Kashmir: Muzaffarabad (City 04, Airport 03), Garhi Dupatta 01, Punjab: Multan (Airport 02, City 01), Narowal and Murree recorded 01.

Today’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Mithi and Shaheed Benazirabad 38.
