Islamabad, March 22, 2023 (PPI-OT): Synoptic Situation

A strong westerly wave is likely to affect Pakistan from tomorrow and likely to grip most central and upper parts of the country on 23rd march evening/night and 24th.

Wednesday

Rain-wind thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Lower Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated hailstorm is also likely at few places during the forecast period. Isolated heavy falls is also expected in Lower Balochistan and Lower Sindh.

Thursday

Rain-wind thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, lower Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated hailstorm is also likely at few places during the forecast period. Heavy falls is also expected in Balochistan.
