Synoptic Situation
A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country and likely to move eastward during next 12 hours.
Monday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm/snow over the mountains is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during day time.
Tuesday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country while, partly cloudy in upper parts.

Rain/snow occurred at a few places in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan. Cold and dry weather prevailed in other parts of the country.
