Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

Thursday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts while partly cloudy in upper parts of the country. Light rain/light snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

Friday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts while partly cloudy in upper parts of the country. Light rain/light snowfall is expected at isolated places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan while light rainfall/ drizzle is likely in Pothohar region.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country. While very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan. However, light rain/light snowfall recorded in Bagrote and Skardu.

Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -12, Kalam -09, Astore, Parachinar -07, Gupis, Skardu-06 and Bagrote -05.
