Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is likely to enter western parts on Saturday, and expected to intensify and grip upper parts on Sunday and Monday.
Friday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy during evening/night. Very cold weather is likely in upper parts, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Saturday
Cold and cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected in north Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan.
