Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to continue over upper parts during next few days.

Monday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, light rain (light snow over hills) is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during evening/night.

Tuesday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain (snow over hills) is expected in Northeastern Punjab, Islamabad, Pothohar region, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Rain (snow over hills) occurred at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Murree and Chillas. Cold weather prevailed elsewhere in the country.

Rainfall (mm): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pattan 19, Parachinar 13, Kalam 12, Malam Jabba 08, Balakot 05, Dir (Upper 04), Mirkhani 03, Drosh, Chitral, Bacha Khan (A/P) 01, Kashmir: Muzaffarabad (City 07, A/P 04), Garhi Dupatta 03, Kotli 01, Punjab: Murree 01 and Gilgit-Baltistan: Chillas 01.

Snowfall (Inches): Kalam 06, Parachinar 05, Malam Jabba 04, Dir 01 and Murree 0.5.

Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -13, Kalat -08, Gupis, Malam Jabba -07, and Kalam, Quetta -06, Hunza 05, Skardu, Astore, Zhob, Dalbandin and Bagrote 04.
