Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is approaching Balochistan today, and likely to persist during 18th and 19th of January.

Tuesday

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. However, cloudy weather is expected in most districts of Balochistan and rain is also likely in western districts of province.

Wednesday

Partly cloudy/ cold weather is expected in most parts of the country. while, very cold in upper areas. However, rain/snow is likely in North and West Balochistan.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Very cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of country.

Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Kalam -17, Leh-15, Astore -12, Skardu -09, Ziarat, Bagrote, Malam Jabba -07, Mastung, Dir, Parachinar, Rawalakot, Kalat -06, Quetta and Pashin -05.
