Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Friday.

Thursday

Moderate to heavy rain/ snowfall is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, and Galiyat. Rain is likely in Northeast Punjab, Islamabad and Pothohar region. Foggy conditions are likely over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Upper Sindh during evening night.

Friday

Rain/ snowfall is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, and Galiyat. Rain is likely in Northeast Punjab, Islamabad and Pothohar region. Foggy conditions are likely over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Upper Sindh.

Rain occurred in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Pothohar region, upper Punjab and Northern Balochistan. Meanwhile, snowfall was also recorded at few places in Malam Jabba, Kalam, Murree, Bagrote, Dir (Upper) and Gupis. Foggy condition prevailed over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
