Synoptic Situation

A shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country and likely to grip the country from today (evening/night).

Wednesday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold/partly cloudy in upper parts. However, rain/snow over the mountains is expected in north and western Balochistan. Foggy conditions are likely over the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

Thursday

Rain/snow over the mountains is expected in north and western Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan. Dense foggy conditions prevailed over plain areas of Punjab.

Rainfall (mm): Balochistan: Turbat 10 and Panjgur 05.
