Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting western parts.

Tuesday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts. However, light rain/light snow over the mountains is expected in north and western Balochistan. Dense foggy conditions are likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

Wednesday

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold/partly cloudy in upper parts. However, light rain/light snow over the mountains is expected in north and western Balochistan. Dense foggy conditions are likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in Gilgit-Baltistan and north Balochistan. Dense foggy conditions prevailed over plain areas of Punjab.

Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -13, Skardu -10, Kalam, Astore -07, Hunza -06, Ziarat and Rawalakot -04.
