Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. However, a shallow westerly wave is also present over western and upper parts and may persist till Saturday.

Thursday

Partly cloudy/cloudy with cold and dry weather is likely in most parts of the country. Light rain/light snowfall is expected at few places in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Friday

Partly cloudy/cloudy with cold and dry weather is likely in most parts of the country. Light rain/light snowfall is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Foggy conditions are likely over plain areas of Punjab during night and morning hours.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in Gilgit-Baltistan and north Balochistan during night and morning hours. Foggy conditions occurred at few plain areas of Punjab.

Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -07, Skardu -06, Gupis -04, Kalat and Ziarat -03.
