Synoptic Situation
A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.
Wednesday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain (light snow over hills) is likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and surrounding areas.
Thursday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Fog is likely to develop over a few places in plain areas of Punjab during early morning hours.
Past 24 Hour Weather
Dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while cold in northern areas. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Murree, Rawalakot and Ormara.
Rainfall (mm): Balochistan: Ormara 02, Punjab: Murree 01 and Kashmir: Rawalakot 01.
Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -09, Kalam -04, Babusar -03, Astore, Skardu -02, Bagrote and Rawalakot -01.
