Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country and may persist in western/upper parts of the country till Monday.

Saturday

Cloudy weather in most upper/central parts of the country with rain-wind/thunderstorm (snow over hilly areas) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and surroundings. Hailstorm is also likely to occur at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Punjab.

Rain-wind/thunderstorm (snow over hilly areas) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, north Balochistan, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and surroundings. Hailstorm is also likely to occur at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Punjab.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country, while cold in northern areas. rain-thunderstorm occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
