Heavy Rains may generate urban flooding in Thatta, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu and Sukkur on 23rd August. Heavy Rains may generate urban flooding in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu and Sukkur on 24th August. Flash flooding is expected in Qilla Saifullah, Loralai, Barkhan, Kohlu, Mosa Khel, Shirani, Sibbi, Bolan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbella and hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan on 24th August. Travellers and tourists are advised to remain cautious during the forecast period.
Synoptic Situation
A well-marked low pressure (LPA) located over east Rajasthan (India) is likely to move northwest direction and approach Sindh. A westerly wave is also present upper parts of the country.

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and South Punjab, Northeast and Eastern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Scattered heavy falls are also likely in northeast Balochistan, Sindh and south Punjab during the period.
Wednesday
Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and South Punjab, Northeast and Eastern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Scattered heavy falls are also likely in northeast Balochistan, Lower Sindh, South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Punjab Kashmir and adjoining areas during the period.
