Synoptic Situation

Monsoon currents are penetrating upper and lower parts of the country. A westerly wave is also affecting western and upper parts of the country.

Friday

Partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is likely in Kashmir, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, north and east Balochistan. Isolated heavy falls are also likely in eastern districts of Sindh, south-eastern Balochistan, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.

Saturday

Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is likely at isolated places in Kashmir, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, north and east Balochistan.

Hot and humid weather prevailed in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred at isolated places in upper/south Punjab, Islamabad, south Balochistan and Kashmir.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperatures (°C): Dalbandin, Nokkundi 42, Dera Ismail Khan, Chillas, Noorpur Thal, Rohri 41, Jacobabad and Sukkur 40.
