Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Monsoon currents are approaching eastern parts of the country and likely to strengthen during next 24 hours.

Thursday

Rain wind-thundershower is expected in Kashmir, upper Punjab, Islamabad and coastal districts of Sindh. Hot and humid weather is expected in other parts of the country, while very hot in upper Sindh and south Punjab.

Friday

Partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the country. Rain wind-thundershower is likely in Kashmir, upper/central Punjab, Islamabad, lower Sindh and eastern Balochistan.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very hot in upper Sindh and south Punjab. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred in Kashmir, Sialkot and Karachi. Rainfall (mm): Kotli 13, Sialkot 05 and Karachi Trace.

Yesterday’s Recorded highest Temperature’s (°C): Nokundi 48, Sibbi, Jacobabad, Dadu, Nurpur Thal and Bannu 46.
