Synoptic Situation

A shallow westerly wave is present over western/upper parts of the country and may persist in upper parts for next few days.

Saturday

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. Gusty winds are likely in central/southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind/thunderstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad and Pothohar region and upper Punjab in the afternoon.

Sunday

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. Gusty winds are likely in central/southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind/thunderstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad and upper Punjab in the afternoon.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain occurred at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and Murree.
