Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

Thursday

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and upper Sindh. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty/dust raising winds are likely at few places in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Friday

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and upper Sindh. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Gilgit Baltistan and adjoining areas.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region and Kashmir.

Rainfall (mm): Gilgit Baltistan: Bagrote 06, Astore 04, Babusar, Gilgit 01, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pattan 03, Malam Jabba 04, Balakot 03, Kalam 01, Punjab: Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 04), Murree 02 and Chakwal 01.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Jacobabad 47, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad 46, Sibbi and Mohenjodaro 45.
