Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Tuesday (Morning).

Monday

Partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad and upper Punjab. Hot and dry weather is likely in other areas of the country, while dust raising/gusty winds in central and southern parts.

Tuesday

Very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad and northeast Punjab during morning hours.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Rainfall (mm): Punjab: Sialkot (Airport 10, City 07), Chakwal, Gujrat, Okara 04, Narowal 01, Murree 02, Hafizabad, Sargodha 01, Gilgit Baltistan: Babusar 07, Bagrote 06, Astore 04, Gilgit 03, Kashmir: Rawalakot 03, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Balakot, Drosh 02 and Kalam 01.

Yesterday’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Mohenjodaro, Jacobabad, Dadu, Sibbi, Shaheed Benazirabad 49, Larkana, Padidan and Sakrand 48.
