Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is present over western/upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next few days.

Hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad and upper Punjab. Dust storm is likely in central and southern districts of Punjab during the period.

Saturday

Hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir. Dust raising winds are likely in central and southern districts of Punjab during the period.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in upper Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Yesterday’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Jacobabad, Dadu 49, Sibbi, Mohenjodaro, Larkana, D.G. Khan and R.Y. Khan 48.
