Synoptic Situation
A westerly wave is present over western/upper parts of the country and likely to further strengthen from 22nd May (Sunday).
Thursday
Hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad and upper Punjab. Dust storm/dust-raising winds are likely in central and southern districts of Punjab.
Friday
Hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad and upper Punjab. Dust storm/dust-raising winds are likely in central and southern districts of Punjab.
