Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerlies in patches are passing over western/upper parts of the country.

Wednesday

Very hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds may occur at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Gusty winds are also likely in central and southern districts of Punjab during the period.

Thursday

Very hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds may occur at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Potohar region. Gusty winds are also likely in central and southern districts of Punjab during the period.

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred at few places in Islamabad, upper Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.

Yesterday’s Recorded Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Jacobabad, Sibbi, Shaheed Benazirabad 48, Turbat, Larkana, Sakrand, Dadu, Mohenjodaro and Noor Pur Thal 46.
