Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is present over upper and central parts of the country.

Monday

Very hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, gusty/dust raising winds with light rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Kashmir. Gusty/dust raising winds are likely in central and southern districts of the country during the period.

Tuesday

Very hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. However, gusty/dust raising winds with light rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. Gusty/dust raising winds are likely in central and southern districts of the country during the period.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
