A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to weaken in next 24 hours.
Thursday
Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with light snow over the hills) is expected in Islamabad, north-eastern Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.
Friday
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm (snow over the hills) is likely in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.
Past 24-Hour Weather
Rain-thunderstorm occurred in north Balochistan, Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jacobabad and Kashmir. Weather remained cold and dry in other parts of the country.
