Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting central parts of the country.

Wednesday

Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snowfall in upper areas) is expected in upper Balochistan, south/central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Thursday

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is likely in northeast Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Balochistan, upper Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, south Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Snowfall (inch): Astore 0.4, Bagrote and Skardu Trace.

Today’s Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -06, Kalam, Baramulla, Pulwama -04, Astore, Shupiyan -03, Skardu, Gupis -02 and Bagrote -01.
