Synoptic Situation

A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.

Thursday

Partly cloudy weather is expected in most upper parts of the country. However, more light to moderate rain-wind/thunderstorm with snow over hills is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.

Friday

Light to moderate rain-wind/thunderstorm with snow over hills is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Rain-wind/thunderstorm with snow over the hills occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. Weather remained dry in other parts of the country.

Snowfall (inch): Malamjabba 4.0, Astore 3.5, Kalam 2.0, Skardu 1.7 and Hunza Trace.

Today’s Lowest Minimum Temperature’s (°C): Leh -11, Astore -05, Kalam, Pulwama, Baramulla -04, Gupis, Hunza, Malamjabba, Shupiyan -03, Kalat, Parachinar and Skardu -02.
