Synoptic Situation
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country tonight and may persist in upper parts till Thursday.
Monday
Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm (light snow over hills) is expected in north Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during evening/night.
Tuesday
Rain-wind-thunderstorm (snow over hills) is expected in north Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Hailstorm is also expected at isolated places during the period. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold in hilly areas.
